Spare Tyre is a pioneering participatory theatre and multi-art form company. For over 45 years, we have been recognising the creativity in everyone, and making art with adults who are least represented in professional and community arts and culture. Our current creative partnerships are with groups supporting:
* people with dementia and their carers
* people with chronic health conditions such as Long Covid
* learning disabled adults
* neurodivergent, d/Deaf, & disabled artists
We support disadvantaged and disenfranchised people through regular creative programmes which we run in traditional arts venues, community centres, and online.

Our group, comprised of adults with learning disabilities and their support staff, found the experience incredibly captivating and enriching. Throughout the workshop, we were immersed in the vibrant world of working beaches, with sounds and lights creating emotions from awe to excitement. The workshop sparked thoughtful reflection and left us with a sense of joy and fulfilment. Thank you so much for providing such a memorable and impactful experience
